What lengths are possible?

We manufacture your wear strips individually to your specifications – any desired length is possible. Alternatively, you can also order standard lengths from us as complete 6.1-meter bars.

How can I order the wear strip in my desired length?

Simply enter your desired length in millimeters directly above the 'Add to Cart' button. Your individual price will be calculated precisely based on your measurement. If the adjusted price doesn't appear immediately on the product page, it will be displayed correctly in your shopping cart summary.

What are the advantages of wear strips?

Our wear strips protect buckets and shovels from direct material abrasion. This protects the basic structure of your attachment and prevents costly repairs. The wear strips are applied where the greatest friction occurs – usually on the underside of the bucket floor or on the side walls.

  • Longer lifespan: Maximum protection against abrasion and wear.
  • Reduce costs: Simply replace the strip instead of repairing the entire device.
  • Universal: Ideal for excavator buckets, wheel loader and front loader buckets, plows or skidding plates.

Is Borox steel the same as Hardox steel?

No, there is no qualitative difference. Borox is a spin-off of Hardox and works according to the same recipe and the same high quality standards.

The decisive difference today lies in the product range: From Hardox we exclusively purchase the large-format steel plates that we use for the side walls and bottoms of our buckets. Since Hardox itself no longer offers finished wear strips or cutting edges, we use the specialized solutions from Borox for these highly stressed blade components.
